At Finca Naundrup the food is a high priority. A healthy diet
is essential for any athlete. At the same time, we know from experience that our guests are both hungry and tired after many hours of training and therefore it is important that there is easy access to delicious and nutritional food.
For groups of 10 people, we offer healthy and tasty food served in our cozy dining room.
If special diets are needed, we can also help you.
Our team of chefs, with cookbook author Jane Naundrup as the head of the kitchen, always make good, healthy and nutritious food that can satisfy any sportsman.
If you book a training camp or a sports holiday with us all meals are included as well as water, coffee and tea. Other drinks can be bought in the restaurant and the pool bar.
OUR DIET PRINCIPLES
Healthy food for hungry athletes is one of the most important parts of the concept of Finca Naundrup. All year round we prepare home cooked meals, always made from fresh groceries of the season. We take pride in making healthy food that also tastes good.
The healthy food is one of the key reasons for our success. We have examined, tested and studied hard to find what food is needed when you are an athlete. It is all about what your body needs. On the market you will find plenty of opinions on what healthy food is. We have chosen to follow the principals on sports nutrition made from the Danish Team Denmark organization.
We are not afraid of carbohydrates, as to an athlete carbohydrates are essential and a minimum 45% of your diet should come from carbohydrates. The rest should be veggies and a protein.
